National team midfielder changes championship: Proud to be Albanian

Lindon Selahi is officially a footballer of the Polish club Widzew Lodz, where he has signed until June 2028, with an option to renew for another season.

Another Albanian midfielder, Julian Shehu, is also active in this team. Selahi stated that he chose this project for the new challenge and because of his acquaintance with coach Sopic, with whom he previously worked at Rijeka. He emphasized that the adaptation will be easier thanks to Shehu's support.

The 26-year-old expressed his pride in representing Albania, emphasizing the importance of the red and black jersey to him.

"It's always a pleasure to play for your national team! Every time I wear the red and black jersey, I feel proud and give my all, because there is nothing more beautiful than representing your country! I am proud to be Albanian!"

Selah plays as a midfielder, where he fits both offensively and defensively. Last season he was part of Rijeka, with whom he won the championship and the Croatian Cup. He has played in four official matches with the Albanian national team.
