Inter and Juventus "fill the coffers" in the Club World Cup

Serie A remains the only major league that does not have a representative in the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup.

Inter and Juventus were eliminated in the round of 16, but secured significant revenue. The Blues earned a total of 36 million euros, including 24 million from participation, 5 million from the group stage and 7 million from qualifying for the last 16.

Juventus earned around €31 million in total, starting from €18-20 million for participation, €4 million for group stage results and €7 million for advancing to the knockout stage. Both teams missed out on another €12.2 million for qualifying for the quarter-finals.

Inter were defeated by Fluminense, while Juventus were eliminated by Real Madrid. However, their participation proved profitable in financial terms.
