Entry of fans/Discipline with an "iron fist", Flamurtari is punished

The Disciplinary Committee of the Albanian Football Association (AFHA) has published its decisions regarding the recent events in Albanian football. The focus was on the Flamurtari–Teuta match, which was interrupted after local fans entered the field.

For this incident, Flamurtari was sentenced to play eight matches without spectators. The Vlorë club was also fined 500 thousand lekë.

The measure for matches without fans is not allowed to be converted, due to the serious nature of the violation and the security breach.

Vora official Bazio Tragaj has also been suspended for four matches. The punishment was given for unsportsmanlike conduct towards the referees. Iliria player Adolf Selmani has also been suspended for four matches for the same offense.

DECISIONS:

Flamurtari FC, for failing to fulfill its obligations and responsibilities, by allowing unauthorized persons to enter the playing field and by not guaranteeing the safety of the opposing team's players, based on articles 6/3/b, 8, 13/2, 17/1, 17/2/a, 17/2/h and 77 of the KDE, is punished with the holding of 8 (eight) matches without spectators and a fine of 500,000 (five hundred thousand) lek.

Due to the serious nature of the violations, the violation of the safety of the players and the public interest of the competition, the disciplinary measure of holding matches without spectators is not allowed to be converted in accordance with article 75 of the KDE.

KF Vora official, Bazio Tragaj, for unsportsmanlike behavior towards match officials, based on article 14/1/j of the KDE, is sentenced to 4 (four) matches of suspension from activities.

KF Iliria player, Adolf Selmani, for unsportsmanlike behavior towards match officials, based on article 14/1/j of the KDE, is sentenced to 4 (four) matches of suspension from activities.

FK Pogradeci U-19 player, Aldor Cekici, for unsportsmanlike behavior towards match officials, based on article 14/1/j of the KDE, is sentenced to 4 (four) matches suspension from activities.

FK Pogradeci U-19 player, Igli Xhajollari, for attacking players of the opposing team, based on article 14/1/i of the KDE, is sentenced to 5 (five) matches suspension from activities.

KF Shkodra U-19 player, Klisman Kallajxhiu, for attacking players of the opposing team, based on article 14/1/i of the KDE, is sentenced to 5 (five) matches suspension from activities.

The player of Rinia EL U-15, Enes Pelushaj, for unsportsmanlike behavior towards match officials, based on article 14/1/j of the KDE, is punished with a 5 (five) match suspension from activities.

KF Shënkolli U-14 player, Mateo Meta, for attacking players of the opposing team, based on article 14/1/i of the KDE, is sentenced to 5 (five) matches suspension from activities.

An appeal against the decision is allowed within 3 (three) days before the Appeals Committee.
