Last stage in Albania, Pedersen wins again at Giro d'Italia

Danish cyclist Mads Pedersen secured victory in the third stage of the Giro d'Italia, confirming his top form at this early stage of the competition.

The third stage, which also marked the end of the Albanian segment of the tour, took place in the city of Vlora and was characterized by a tight competition until the last meters.

Pedersen finished first in the final sprint, leaving his rivals behind and reclaiming the pink jersey, the symbol of the leader in the overall standings.

We recall that he was also the winner of the first stage, which started from Durrës and ended in Tirana.

Behind him, Strong came in second place, followed by Aular and Brandon Rivera, who put in a consistent performance throughout the route.

In the overall standings, Pedersen holds first place, leaving behind Primo? Roglicc and Karel Vacek.

After completing the first three stages on Albanian territory, the race will move to Italy, where cyclists will face new challenges in the rest of the tour.

The "Giro d'Italia" continues with the fourth stage, where another battle between the biggest names in world cycling is expected.
