Eliminated Atalanta/ The coach's sensational statement: He talks to his dead mother before matches

Club Brugge coach Nicky Hayen has made a sensational statement after eliminating Atalanta in the Champions League.

The 44-year-old coach revealed the special ritual before matches, saying he talks to his mother, who passed away four years ago.

"Before the games, I always talk to my mother who passed away four years ago. I do it a lot. Last year, before the playoffs, I told her that I wanted to achieve something crazy and in the end I won the championship. I'm not religious, but this is important to me. I have to believe that she exists and I really believe that my mother is helping us," Hayen said.

Club Brugge has been one of the big surprises in the Champions League this season, where in addition to Atalanta, it has also caused problems for other Italian teams such as Milan and Juventus.
