Juventus defeated Inter/ Motta rejoices at the victory, Inzaghi: We had a great

Juventus triumphed in the Italian derby against Inter, in a match that had everything in it. The result of the match has left mixed emotions for both coaches.

The black and blue coach, Simone Inzaghi, stated that his team played a very good match, but lacked finishing. According to him, the players should have been killers in the area, with the chances they had. Inzaghi also stated that with the opportunities they had in the first half, the score should not have been 0-0.

"I can't blame the boys. We played a great game, but we should have taken the lead in the first half. In the second half we didn't play well and conceded the goal. We have to work harder. We have to make better decisions. I don't see what happens to the title rivals, I'm only focused on my team. With a performance like that in Turin, I think we deserved more. We should have been killers in front of goal. With the chances we had, the first half shouldn't have ended goalless," declared Inzaghi.

On the other hand, Juventus coach Thiago Motta appeared very happy. The black and white coach acknowledged Inter's dominance in the first half, but stressed that his team deserved the triumph.

"I think the first half was difficult and complicated against a very strong team, who play very good football. But we respected the opponent a lot, we left them a lot of space for the game. We know that it is a team that moves a lot and has quality.

Victories bring confidence and awareness of the strength we have. It is clear that to achieve these victories we have to do well and deserve them. In the first half we did not deserve to win, Inter was superior. In away matches we have done better from the first minute.

"My objective is to improve the team, to do my job to the maximum every day. I love what I do. I don't coach the team and I don't do this job to please anyone, I do it for myself, because I know we are on the right track. I like to see my boys running, trying and playing good football to always achieve victory. Sometimes we haven't been able to, but tonight we did a great job and we deserved the victory. This is my objective. The boys deserve the support of the fans, because every day they give their maximum and give everything on the pitch, always for the good of the team and Juventus", declared Motta.

After the loss, Inter remains in second place, while Juventus has climbed to fourth place in the Serie A standings.
