Fifth on the planet! Luiza Gega

Luiza Gega is one of the fastest women in the world in the 3000 meter steeplechase.

The well-known Albanian athlete was ranked 5th in the final of the Athletics World Cup, in a competition where she excelled with her performance.

On the track, Luiza showed again that she is the best Albanian athlete, registering a time of 9:10.04 and automatically a new national record in this discipline. In fact, Gega lowers the record by more than 4 seconds, which means that the time achieved by her in this World Cup is fantastic.

The previous record in this discipline was held by Luiza Gega with a time of 9:14.29 and was set on July 1, at the Mediterranean Games, "Oran 2022".
