The coach of the Albanian National Team, Silvinjo, together with his technical staff, have intensified their work in preparation for the 2026 World Cup play-off match against Poland.

Over the past few weeks, the red and black technical staff has closely followed several matches of the "Abissnet Superiore" championship, to observe Albanian players who are active in the local football elite. Among the matches attended were Dinamo City - Vllaznia and Egnatia - Dinamo City.

In parallel with following the domestic championship, Silvinjo and the technical staff have also been present at several meetings in the European arena. In Portugal, they followed the Europa League match, Porto – Rangers, to closely evaluate the performance of the red and black midfielder Nedim Bajrami.

Meanwhile, in Italy, the technical staff was present at the Lazio - Atalanta match, where two of the national team's starters, Berat Gjimshiti and Elseid Hysaj, were activated.

During his stay in Italy, the coach also held a meeting with captain Berat Gjimshiti, while at the premises of the Albanian Football Federation he received a visit from Elseid Hysaj, as part of communication with the team captains before the "Play-Off" match.

In the coming weeks, the technical staff has planned to closely follow several other red and black players in their matches with their respective clubs, in order to assess in detail the physical condition and form of each one before the important "Play-Off" challenge.

Preparations continue with high intensity, while the focus remains maximum on achieving the objective in the match against Poland.
