Skënderbeu triumphed 3-1 over Besa in a friendly match held in Korça. The two teams that will be rivals in the First Category challenged each other on the eve of the start of the championship.

Besa was the first to make a move in the opposing area. In the 20th minute, after a quick move on the right wing, Chinedu took advantage of a carelessness in the Korça defense and with a precise shot, he took the ball into the net, giving the Cavaliers the lead.

Despite the goal conceded, Skënderbeu did not change their approach to the match. The Korça team dominated possession and created chances, but in the first half they failed to finish their efforts effectively. Apart from a few long-range attempts and some accurate interventions by Besa's goalkeeper, the first half ended with a minimal score of 1-0 for the team from Kavaja.

In the second half, Skënderbeu changed their rhythm and approach, increasing the intensity and pressure in the opposing area. The work done in the ball circulation paid off in the 53rd minute, when Ukiç scored a beautiful goal from outside the area. His precise shot left no chance for the opposing goalkeeper to react.

After the equalizer, Skënderbeu did not stop looking for the overturn. The game moved mainly to Besa's half-field, while the coaches of both teams made several substitutions to test different elements on the field. The advantage for Korça came after a well-organized action from the left wing. Zenullari gave a precise cross into the area and Tayo climbed higher than everyone, heading for the home team's second goal. With this achievement, Skënderbeu overturned everything and took the advantage.

Besa and Skënderbeu each hit the post once in an attempt to change the score. In the end, there was room for a goal scored by Gjini, which sealed the score at 3-1.

Skënderbeu somehow regained its confidence after the 4-0 defeat it suffered a few days ago against Struga.

Both Skënderbeu and Besa have the goal of climbing to the Superiore, and for this reason every minute of the game and every test of this type is considered of particular importance in preparation for the season that is expected to be long and fought until the end.
