"Crazy" offer from Liverpool, decision made for Isak

Liverpool have been one of the most active clubs in the summer transfer window, spending over €300m to bring in Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong. However, the English club have not yet closed the transfer window and are looking to bring in Swedish striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle.

Despite having a full squad, the Reds have made a bid of €138m plus bonuses for Isak. Newcastle have rejected this proposal. However, Liverpool are expected to return with a new offer.

Isak has expressed his desire to leave and is currently training with Real Sociedad to maintain his fitness. Newcastle are keen to keep the player with a pay rise and a release clause for next summer. The situation remains open, with Liverpool remaining determined to secure the 25-year-old forward's services.
