There is hope for Shkumbin. In the city, the hope has arisen to once again repair the team at high levels and, above all, without the significant problems it has encountered in recent years. After constant contacts, Peqin Municipality has found the right person to revive football.

It is Ali Kasa who has taken over the management of the club.
It is not an unknown name, as it has been curved so much in Shijak in recent days. He was taking the presidency of Erzen, but in the end the deal failed. During the time he was negotiating with the Shijakas, the businessman had also made plans for the hometown team. Peqinas has presented an ambitious project to Peqin Municipality and the agreement was not delayed, as the official presentation came.

It is known that the new managers of the club plan to acquire shares, so the privatization procedures will start very soon. The goal is clear: to build a dignified team that does not discuss promotion to the First Division.
Meanwhile, today President Ali Kasa addressed a message to all his fellow citizens and sports lovers in Peqin, writing:

My fellow citizens!
The decision to become an active part of the football world was more difficult than the one to help and support our heart team, Shkumbin!
In parallel with the decision I took to invest in sports, specifically in Albanian football, I was clear that in any case, in relation to the terrain where I would be "embedded", this would not prevent me from supporting in any case the possibilities of I love the football of my city.
I consider the decision to manage Shkumbin to be a pleasure and a privilege, and of course also a great responsibility before you as a fellow citizen and undoubtedly especially before the most ardent fans, those who have stood by the team in the most difficult days, those who have experienced positive and negative emotions yesterday and today, but they never abandoned the team with their hearts.
I do not deny the fact that there were many of my friends and colleagues who looked at me with great skepticism and maybe even more than that as "crazy", when I told them the plan to finance Shkumbin. "What is the need for this work, football is a pit, etc., expressions like these, do not shake my conviction, in the objective to get the football club out of the situation where it is.
As if I cannot hide the fact that important local actors and factors such as the mayor Bukurosh Maçi, Aqif Rakipi, Saimir Hasalla, Dashnor Sula, Gugash Magani, etc., who encouraged and encouraged me to take on this great responsibility by offering me cooperation for the benefit of our heart team. I want to attribute my decision-making to my family, parents and brothers, who not only have a vital role in my professional and social formation, but instilled in me the great love and attachment for my hometown.
Dear fellow citizens and sports lovers; football is one of the great values ??that Beijing and our area are proud of, just as we are proud of our precious historical and cultural heritage assets.
Very soon we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the football club. And for me, there is no greater pleasure to be a part of this beautiful 99-year-old history, for which we sincerely thank everyone who has contributed over the years and decades.
I assure you that I am not here to be a bystander; I am here to witness a big change with you, to return Shkumbin to where it deserves, among the best. We will do this with deeds, not words to advance a serious project in professional and financial terms.
We want to, and will, build a club with modern foundations, which is solid and creates continuity through the ages to the first team.
Infrastructure and Academy are the key to success, so we will focus our attention strongly on these aspects, not leaving behind of course the quick success in results in the first team so that the 100th anniversary celebrations find us a category higher!
Successes are never individual, so I ask for the support of all my fellow citizens, fans and not only, towards a single goal: to restore the dignity of Peqin in the most beloved sport, football.
