Anxiety before the World Cup, Neymar's condition revealed

The Brazilian Football Confederation has announced that Neymar is showing positive signs of recovery from a muscle injury, but remains a doubt for Brazil's first match against Morocco.

The latest scan confirmed the 34-year-old's steady progress after suffering a second-degree muscle tear in his right calf.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti stated that he hopes to have the Santos player in training during the week, but stressed that his activation will not be jeopardized without full medical confirmation.

The decision on whether the number 10 will be on the field or on the bench against Morocco will be made in the final days before the match, based on the latest physical endurance tests.
