Coach Rolando Maran began his adventure in Albania with two losses in the June friendlies. After the defeat against Luxembourg, the red and black coach said that he saw readiness in the players for these two matches.

Maran also revealed two reasons that, according to him, may have influenced these losses for Albania.

Maran stated that in these friendly matches, he focused on building the team of the future.

Albania will return to the field in September, for the Nations League matches.
