140 million euro salary/ Madness for Barella from Al Hilal, the midfielder makes the decision

Al Hilal continue to pursue Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella. The Saudis tried to lure the player with a hefty offer in the winter transfer window, but the 27-year-old refused, confirming his desire to stay at Inter.

However, according to "La Gazetta dello Sport", Al Hilal are ready to make an offer that would make Barella the highest-paid Italian footballer in history. If in January the figures spoke of an annual salary of 18 million euros, this time the Saudi club has prepared a four-year contract with a salary of 35 million euros per season, which in total would reach the figure of 140 million euros.

Despite the tempting offer, the Italian midfielder seems steadfast in his stance. He is happy in Milan and has no plans to leave Inter. His current contract, renewed last year, is valid until 2029 and guarantees him an annual salary of 6.5 million euros, making him the highest-paid Italian footballer in Serie A.
