A Portuguese, Ancelotti's alternative for the Brazil bench

The Brazilian national team is facing major problems just a year before the World Cup. The president of the federation, Ednaldo Rodrigues, is looking for a foreign coach to lead the team.

After unsuccessful experiences with Diniz and Dorival, the Federation's target is Italian Carlo Ancelotti, who has recently been contacted for this role.

However, despite Brazil's strong interest, Ancelotti has not yet given a definitive answer, leaving the door open for the possibility of him taking over the Selecao.

Brazil doesn't want to be caught unprepared and for this reason, they are also studying other alternatives.

Plan B is Jorge Jesus, the Portuguese coach who has openly expressed his desire to manage the Brazilian national team.

Jesus, who currently manages Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia, is set to leave the club before his contract expires in June. That would make him a strong candidate to take charge of Brazil during the upcoming FIFA World Cup window in June, when the selecao face Ecuador and Paraguay.
