Sensational/ Ancelotti is projected on the bench of the great national team

Carlo Ancelotti could end his coaching career by managing a national team, and Brazil is the most likely destination.

The Real Madrid coach has long been a hot favourite of the Brazilian Federation, and after the Seleção's recent defeat to Argentina, the position of current coach Dorival has been called into question.

According to reports from "Globo", Brazil has initiated contacts with Ancelotti, who remains the main candidate to take charge of the national team at the 2026 World Cup. The 65-year-old Italian has expressed his willingness to discuss the offer, but the final decision is expected to be made after the Club World Cup in July 2025.

This is not the first attempt by Brazil to convince Ancelotti. Even in 2023, they tried to bring him to their bench, but the Italian chose to renew with Real Madrid.

Now, with his future at Madrid still uncertain, an adventure on the bench of the five-time world champions seems more likely than ever.
