Albania U-17 closes qualifiers with loss

The Albanian U-17 national team played today the final match of the second round of the "Albania 2025" European Championship qualifiers in group B6, against Wales. 

In this challenge, the Red and Blacks were defeated with a score of 1-2. The only goal for Albania was scored by Leon Myrtaj in the 20th minute.

Albania started the match well and scored the first goal in the 20th minute. Leon Myrtaj scored for the Red and Blacks. The first half ended with this result.

The second half started with a change for Albania. Alen Vukaj came off the bench and Dijar Ferati came on. Wales equalised in the 63rd minute through William Grainger.

Friends turned everything upside down in 76 with the same protagonist William Grainger.

The Reds tried until the end to equalize the score and the Reds coach activated Emiljano Mihana and Serxhio Vogli, but without success. In the end, the match ended with a score of 1-2 for Wales.

The matches of Group B6 of the second round of the European Championship qualifiers were held in our country, under the organization of the Football Federation. Wales leads the group with 4 points, while Albania ranks second with 3 points.
