Germany striker chooses Albania? Player's father: The two eagles...

Nelson Weiper was recently rumored to represent Albania at the national level. He is 20 years old and plays for the German youth team.

His father is German, while his mother is Albanian. This allows him to play for the red and black colors. To give more voice to the possibility of him playing for Albania, his father thought.

Klaus Weiper published a photo of Nelson with another player of Albanian-German origin, Brajan Gruda, with the caption in Albanian: "The two eagles."

The Albanian Football Association (AFH) is said to have initiated contacts with the striker, but also with his family, to understand if he wants to wear the red and black. So far, Nelson has defended the colors of Germany, moving from the 17 and 18-year-old representatives, to the 21-year-old team, where he was recently called up and played in the match against Spain.

Weiper has played 12 Bundesliga matches this season and scored two goals.
