Works on the entrance to Shkodra are continuing on the road segment from the Berdica Arch to the Bahçallë Bridge.

One side of the road is in the asphalt layer laying phase, while underground works are underway in the other two segments. Meanwhile, the phase of piling for the construction of the new bridge has also begun.

Due to the increased flow of vehicles during the tourist season, the work has been organized in order to avoid traffic congestion as much as possible, guaranteeing continuous circulation for residents and visitors.

" Currently, works are underway at the entrance to Shkodra, in the segment from the Velipja turn to the Buna bridge. The works are progressing very well, we have divided them into 3 segments. In one segment of 500 m, asphalt layers have begun. In the other 2 segments, work is being done on the underground infrastructure, rainwater sewers, reserve lines. We have also started works on the Bahçallëk bridge, we are in the phase of implementing the pilots. Regarding traffic, we have taken all the necessary measures for management with the relevant signage ", said engineer Eduard Kurti.

 

For residents, this was a necessary investment, but they appeal to move at a faster pace.

This project is worth 10 million euros and is made possible by the Albanian Development Fund.
