Pusteci opens the tourist season with new investments and high expectations

The tourist season in Pustec has officially started, for the second year in a row, marking another important step in the development of tourism in this area with high natural and cultural potential. According to Mayor Pali Kolefski, this institution has undertaken a series of measures to facilitate the preparations of local residents and businesses, with the aim of this summer bringing more visitors, more economy and more opportunities for the community.

In addition to the Municipality's commitment to improving infrastructure, this year a significant investment has been made in creating a beach, designed in such a way that it offers conditions and facilities for holidays in Pustec that are not only peaceful and natural, but also comfortable and safe. The interest of visitors in this area has been increasing. Since the beginning of May, about 18 thousand tourists have been registered, most of them foreign, coming mainly from European countries such as Germany, France and Italy.

One of the strongest points of the tourist offer in Pustec is undoubtedly gastronomy. The traditional cuisine of the area is rich in fresh foods and local products, where fish dishes stand out, such as carp casserole and grilled carp, but also other dishes such as lakrori in saç, fried pancakes and characteristic highland meats.

Angele Demiraj, administrator of Hotel Restaurant Aleksandër, says that these are skillfully prepared by women of the area, who contribute not only to preserving tradition, but also to improving the quality of tourist service.

Martin Heusinger from Germany is amazed by the natural beauty of Pustec and the hospitality he finds in this area. The combination of the lake, mountains, history and tradition makes this area increasingly attractive for tourists seeking tranquility, authenticity and unique experiences away from the noise of big cities.

With the investments made and the growing interest from international markets, Pustec is becoming an increasingly sought-after destination, proving that tourism in the southeast of the country has real potential for sustainable and long-term development./ CNA
