President Bajram Begaj met this Wednesday 4 representatives of small political parties.

After the meeting with Begaj, the head of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, revealed the date he proposed to Begaj.

He stated in an interview with Besard Jacaj that he proposed May 4 for holding the 2025 parliamentary elections.

"We had discussions with the Democratic Party about who is the most suitable date. In the interest of the opposition, the later date is of course, but considering that we have a government that at every moment tries to manipulate and use the administration and national interests in the service of electoral interests, we thought that the 4th date is the most favorable date for several reasons .

The first, as according to information, as happens with Prime Minister Rama, he will use the European Union report for electoral interest, as well as other moments related to the left moment to make a kind of division of public opinion and to justify it which is evident, the manipulation of the electoral process that has already started. The most appropriate date for the elections is the date that does not create any kind of negative premise either for one or the other party and that is why we proposed the date 4", said the head of the PR./ CNA
