Freedom Party member Lefter Maliqi spoke in a television appearance about the elections in the Municipality of Tirana.

Maliqi said that Rilindja's propaganda is to say that the opposition has no candidates, while he said that there are candidates.

Further, Maliqi said that the opposition meetings are being held to reconcile names with the rest of the opposition.

The PL member said that the DP and the opposition need a lot of work at the grassroots level, because according to him, the regime is in action.

 

" Albanians should not buy into this propaganda of Rilindja that the opposition has no candidates. We have candidates and the meetings are held to agree on names. The discussions are taking place because we are facing a narco-state and the DP also seeks the opinion of the rest of the opposition so that we can come up with a common name. I have said that the DP and the united opposition need a great deal of parallel work at the grassroots level because the regime is in action. I am for new elections in Tirana because it has turned into a narco-state, the government has turned into a sultanate. Without grassroots organization there is no victory, the opposition must have the analysis ," said Maliqi.
