The US Chargé d'Affaires in Albania, Nancy VanHorn, hosted a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali.
The meeting was announced by the US embassy through a post on social media.
The announcement states that the meeting comes after the high-level week of the 80th UN General Assembly.
The US Embassy writes that committed NATO allies ensure they are prepared to meet the new challenges of our time, including working together to combat criminal organizations.
“ Committed NATO Allies ensure they are prepared to meet the new challenges of our time – including sustainable defense spending for long-term security, close cooperation to combat international criminal organizations, and fair economic conditions that allow businesses to thrive.
