May 14 Elections/ Begaj Call: Denounce any intimidation and blackmail

President Bajram Begaj, in a statement to the media, conveyed the message to the heads of institutions and structures engaged in the May 14 elections.

“Sigurimi i standardeve zgjedhore, garanci i përfaqësimit të vullnetit të qytetarëve. Procesi zgjedhor të jetë i drejtë e i paanshëm, i bazuar në kushtetutë e ligj, detyrim thelbësor ndaj vendit. Të mirëadministrohen zgjedhjet, të përmbushen standardet e pacënueshme demokratike. Eksperiencat e mëparshme na kanë përballur jo rrallëherë me fenomene negative. Institucionet jo gjithmonë kanë reaguar me sukses ndaj tyre. Kuadri ligjor i zgjedhjeve është më i plotë dhe instrumentat mbrojtëse më të avancuara”, ka thënë Begaj.

Begaj iu ka bërë thirrje qytetarëve që të ushtrojnë të lirë vullnetin e tyre. Gjithashtu ka ftuar të denoncohet çdo lloj intimidimi apo shanatazhi nag partitë politike.

Presidenti thekosn se shit-blerja e votës, keqpërdorimi i burimeve shtetërore, financimet e paligjshme dhe jo transparente të partive politike dhe manipulimi zgjedhor janë të patolerueshme.
