Enkelejd Joti has resigned from his position as General Director of RTSH.
It is learned that the reason for the resignation is a new post.
Joti will be appointed Deputy Minister of Defense.
On November 15, 2021, he was elected today as Director by the Governing Council of the Albanian Public Radio and Television with a secret vote of 9 members of the Governing Council with three-fifths of the votes.
Enkelejd Joti previously held the position of the general director of Top Media, for 12 consecutive years, from 2003 until December 2015 when he resigned.
He has completed studies in the field of economics and finance, while earlier he also held the position of Deputy General Director of VAT.
Since 2017, he has been the new director of the Mother Teresa Hospital Center, and after the arrest of the former director Thoma Gëllçi, for corruption with tenders, he participated in the competition to run RTSH, where he was declared the winner and received 7 of 9 votes of the Governing Council./ CNA.al
