Vucic meets with Rama about the situation in the north: Reason will prevail

On Thursday, the Serbian President, Aleksandër Vucic, met with Prime Minister Edi Rama during the summit of the European Political Community that is taking place in Chisinau, Moldova.

It was President Vucic who published a photo on Instagram during the discussion with Rama, where the President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski and the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ?eljka Cvijanovi?, were present.

The focus of their discussions was the situation in the north of Kosovo, where Vucic said that reason will prevail.

"We in the region know best how important it is to jointly make every effort to preserve the hard-won peace and stability. We discussed the current events and the next steps that would contribute to finding a solution to the current difficult and serious situation, with the hope that reason will prevail, for the good of all," writes Vu?i?.

The situation in the north of Kosovo is still tense, where protests by Serbs are expected again in 4 municipalities. 

The Head of EU Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, has emphasized that he is waiting for a meeting with the Serbian President, Aleksandër Vucic, while he met with the Kosovar side the day before. According to Borrell, violence is not the right way.
