After 5 hours, Arvit Bushati, the deputy head of the FRPD, was released after being escorted to the premises of the Shkodra police station.

In a statement to the media, he called this attack and pressure on DP representatives in Shkodër and throughout Albania.

According to Bushati, it was an unfounded ban in the procedure. It has also strongly condemned the approach of law enforcement with politics.

" I was after the official working hours drinking coffee with representatives of PD Shkodër, the mayor was also in our presence. We were faced with 2 police patrols which only with the digit, order from the bosses we are sorry you have to come with us, escorted me in strange measures for a man who has no extra explanation to make regarding the competent bodies.

In the police premises, I saw the hesitation on their faces about the orders they had received from the political leaders of the state police after they realized that the measure and form of detention was not based on the procedure. This is an attack, pressure being put on the DP representatives in Shkodër and all of Albania. I strongly condemn the approach that law enforcement has with politics", said Bushati./ CNA.al
