After the defeat of the opposition in the local elections of May 14, a number of exponents of politics have demanded the resignation of Sali Berisha.

Journalist Hysni Gurra answered these critics of Berisha today. In an interview with Sonila Meçon, Gurra stated that Berisha has nowhere to run, as the official PD is not led by him.

The journalist said that Berisha received 510,000 votes despite all the obstacles that came his way, without being in the election and without being on the ballot.

"As soon as the elections are over, the photo of Berisha and Rama is removed from the streets of Albania and transferred to the television studios. Berisha was not the leader of the DP in these elections, of that formal DP they say, because they took his seal. Where did Berisha run from, because he has run away, they didn't leave him, they took him. This leads to the explanation that everything is directed by the SP in all the media and studios where this thing is talked about.

Sali Berisha was not in the election, he was not on the ballot, Sali Berisha was in the entire campaign of the SP, and therefore entered the television studios because the SP sponsors him. Berisha with all these obstacles has managed to get 510 thousand votes", said Gurra./ CNA.al
