The result of the elections in Rrogozhin/ KAS decides to recount the boxes

The "Together We Win" coalition submitted to KAS a request to appeal the results of the elections in the municipality of Rrogozhina.

The opposition petition demanded that the result for mayor in the May 14 elections be declared invalid, as well as that the ballot boxes be opened for a recount.

But the Complaints and Appeals Commission (KAS) rejected the request to declare the result invalid.

The two members of KAS, Ledio Braho and Elvis Cefa, accepted the second request to reopen the boxes, a process that will be carried out on June 5 for the recount of votes.

We remind you that in Rrogozhinë, the candidate of the Socialist Party won the elections with a narrow result of 30 votes. Edison Memolla./ CNA.al
