Albania will receive over 920 million euros from the growth plan for the Western Balkans.

This was announced by the President of the EC, Ursula von der Leyen, during the joint conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

She said that Albania has done excellent work for the reform agenda and will receive 64 million euros by the end of the year.

"It has to do with our growth plan for the Western Balkans, we discussed it in Berlin, we open our door to the common market with the partners of the Western Balkans, it's been a year since the work started and most of them have the reform agenda ready, you and the team did an excellent job on the reform agenda. Now we have to start with the pre-financing of 64 million euros. The quality of the reform plan is good. Altogether, Albania will receive more than 920 million euro from the growth plan," emphasized Von der Leyen./ CNA
