VanHorn-Lamallari Meeting/US Embassy: Paves the Way for Stronger Cooperation

The US Embassy in Tirana has reacted after the meeting with the Minister of Justice, Besfort Lamallari, and the US Chargé d'Affaires in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn.

In a post on social media, the embassy says the meeting paved the way for stronger cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The US Embassy writes that effective coordination with the justice system in Albania is a key point.

“ Paving the way for stronger cooperation in areas of mutual interest, Chargé d’Affaires Nancy VanHorn today met with Minister of Justice Besfort Lamallari at the start of his new term. Effective coordination with the criminal justice system in Albania is key to dismantling organized crime and terrorist groups, a top priority of the Trump Administration ,” the embassy wrote.
