SP's strategy for MP lists/ Teliti: Rama is removing those who have their hands in oppression

The Democratic Party's councilor in the Tirana Municipal Council, Dorjan Teliti, commented today on the Socialist Party's strategy on the eve of the May 11 elections, regarding the preparation of the lists of deputies.

Invited to a television space, Teliti said that the changes in the SP lists are not a true refresh, but an attempt to cleanse the SP's image of old and problematic figures.

Teliti said that Rama is trying to remove these individuals to create the image of a party with new figures.

"The fact that Edi Rama is removing the old ones from the list and introducing the young ones is not for refreshing, but because three-quarters of them have their hands in oppression. One is accused of buying votes, another for other interests, etc. He is trying to remove these individuals to create the image of a party with new figures," said Teliti./CNA
