The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a conversation with the residents of the Depo e Ujit area and members of branch no. 2 in Tirana, who according to him have been abandoned by the central and local governments. During this meeting, Berisha also presented the governance program of 'DP-Greater Albania'.

Berisha considered this period before the elections as the threshold of a very deep and very big change for Albania.

Berisha emphasized that the great and continuous impoverishment of Albanian citizens is the dramatic aspect of the departure of Albanians from the country.

Berisha said that this entire situation has only one factor, which is corruption, theft, waste, and embezzlement of tax money by government officials.

"Today we are on the verge of a very deep, very big change. Albania in these 12 years, the truth is, has moved in a direction in which no one can deny two things."

First, in terms of Albanians leaving Albania more than ever.

Anyone who thinks otherwise should close their eyes for a moment and think about how many people from their circle have left this country in the past 12 years.

The second dramatic aspect of this trend is the great and continuing impoverishment of Albanian citizens. This impoverishment is clearly indicated by pensions and salaries that are clearly inadequate for market prices and a normal life.

Today, a pensioner with his average pension receives 165-170 euros, completely insufficient to cope with life. Let's not discuss those who receive the minimum pension of 120 euros. But those who receive full pensions, these are the minority. 57% of pensioners receive partial pensions.

This entire situation has only one factor, and that factor is corruption, theft, waste, and embezzlement of your tax money by government officials.
