51 municipalities of the country have completed the counting and announced the result for the winning candidate in these local elections.

But 10 other municipalities are still counting and there is still no final result. It is about the municipalities of Tirana, Durrës, Malësi e Madhe, Dibër, Kurbin, Lezhë, Kavajë, Kukës, Krujë and Shijak.

In Tirana, where 6 candidates are competing, 843 centers have been counted so far out of 941 in the capital. The SP candidate, Erion Veliaj, leads the race.

In Durrës, two centers have remained uncounted. Specifically, 340 centers were counted out of 342 in total. This municipality is chaired by the SP with Emiriana Sako.

In Malesia e Madhe, 64 centers have been counted out of 72 in total. In the lead is the SP candidate, Tonin Marinaj.

In Dibër, 97 centers were counted out of 99 in total. The SP candidate, Rahim Spahiu, has left behind his opponents with a large margin of votes.

60 centers out of 74 in total have been counted in Kurb. Majlinda Cara of the SP received the most votes.

In Lezha, 124 centers were counted out of 126 in total. The race is chaired by Pjerin Ndreu of the SP.

In Kavaja, 74 centers have been counted out of 92 in total and 18 more centers remain. Currently, the race is led by the candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition, Fisnik Qosja, with a not very large margin of votes.

In Kukës, 69 centers were counted out of 73 in total. Currently, there are 4 other centers left, and Safet Gjici of the SP leads convincingly.

In Kruja, 83 centers were counted out of 92 in total. Even in this race, the SP candidate, Artur Bushi, is in the lead.

There are 6 counting centers left in Shijak, after the process has been completed in 48 of them out of 54 in total. Again, the race is in favor of the candidate of the SP, Elton Arbana, with a big difference of worlds./ CNA.al
