The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted again after the arrest of the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj. In a statement to the media, outside the Parliament premises, Berisha considered it the blackest day for the socialists.

Regarding Rama's absence from the Assembly today, Berisha said that Rama has been locked up for fear that Veliaj will call him from his cell.

In the end, Berisha demanded the resignation of the prime minister, which he said was a request of the Albanian people and the Democratic Party.
