Statement in the Assembly/ Berisha-Rama: You cannot hide behind Xoxa and Veliaj

The session of the day is being held this afternoon in the Albanian Parliament.

Regardless of the agenda, the deputies have chosen to talk about the arrest of the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during his speech at the Parliament podium, addressed Prime Minister Edi Rama in his absence, saying that after this event, he cannot hide behind Ajola Xoxa and Erion Veliaj.

"Today is a big day for Albanians.
I ask Rama: How much money did you take with your wife?
Where are you who, with the practices of Sopros, brought back political imprisonment, torture, persecution?
Ilir Meta was one of you and you beat him like a bandit.
Where is Edi Rama? Did he leave Shkodra? Where is he now?
There is only one way: to bring Edi Rama here.
