The chairman of PL, Ilir Meta, reacted from prison regarding the event that happened last night in the north of Kosovo, where the Ibër-Lepenci water channel exploded with explosives.

Meta has condemned the attacks in Zveçan and the explosion of the water channel, while holding Serbia responsible for the whole situation.

He demanded that international partner countries, the US and the EU, condemn the attacks and put pressure on official Belgrade to desist from acts that endanger peace, stability and security.

"I condemn with the greatest severity the recent terrorist attacks on the police station in Zveçan, in the Municipality of Zveçan and the explosion detonated against the main channel of Ibër Lepenci, from which water is supplied to several cities in Kosovo, as well as the Kosovo Energy Corporation.

This criminal and terrorist attack, which aimed to damage the critical infrastructure and among the most important of Kosovo, comes from gangs directed and orchestrated by Serbia, which has not yet condemned these criminal acts.

The fault and responsibility for these terrorist attacks is not the existing dialogue format between Kosovo and Serbia, but the complete lack of will of the official Belgrade to respect the agreements with the official Prishtina, as well as the official protection by Serbia of the criminal structures, with leader Millan Radoj?i?, who are supported by the Serbian institutions, who have also glorified the terrorist attack in Banjska, as well as by those Albanian speakers, who keep Serbia in mind, who support and implement initiatives pro-Serbians like "Open Balkan" or who blame and penalize the principled and patriotic positions of the Government of Kosovo, as Edi Rama acted and acts every day.

The Freedom Party, in unwavering support of the people and institutions, of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo, calls on all international partner countries, the United States of America and the European Union, to condemn these terrorist attacks with the greatest force , as well as to exert appropriate pressure on official Belgrade to give up these criminal acts that endanger peace, stability and security in our region", the head of the PL emphasized./ CNA
