"How much have you stolen?"/ Rama responds to the commentator: You

Prime Minister Edi Rama responded to a commentator who said: "How much have you stolen? In 12 years, you're just advertising roads, hospitals, and schools as if you've made a name for yourself."

Rama told the commentator that maybe they didn't do naming, but they removed the bad name from Albania.

Rama then addresses the commentator, telling him that he cannot get out of the swamp, referring to the opposition, but does not express this openly.

"In 12 years, we may not have made a name for ourselves, but we have removed Albania's bad name, we have removed it, and this is beyond any discussion. Today, leaders of other countries gather here and hold summits. Previously, internationals looked at Albania with a smile, today we sit at the table as equals. Roads, schools, hospitals, have never been built more than in this decade, and with European standards. Okay, you can't get out of the swamp, but at least don't say openly that you can't get out.

Shëngjin-Velipoja is an amazing axis… that road is now nearing completion and the posting of the video about it this morning has prompted comments, two or three of which are worth discussing. The opposite is true! What characterizes the thousands of kilometers of roads built by us are standards, and this is not me saying this but our EU partners. Don't forget that after a long battle we brought Albania into the European corridors in 2023, and we are building the blue corridor and corridor 8. And the National Road that was opened during the time of the swamp, we have tried to bring it into European standards, and the effort is not over yet. The irony then that standards are missing because we pay for the elections, is a direct insult to the 800 thousand Albanians, who on May 11 will approach 1 million who vote for me and the SP, precisely because we are building an Albania with standards over the swamp of deep wounds that we inherited when we took office. "Italy is one of the seven economies in the world, so Albania can neither become Italy, nor does it have to pretend to be, but it can and will become a piece of Italy in the Balkans, but one thing I don't understand... why don't you rejoice when you see a beautiful job," said Rama./ CNA
