Prime Minister Edi Rama met this Wednesday the charge d'affaires of the United States in Tirana, David Wisner.

The American Embassy has published photos of Rama with David Wisner and revealed details of the meeting.

The US Embassy in Tirana announces that the topic of discussion was the close partnership in the United Nations Security Council, especially for Ukraine, as well as the importance of supporting the Albanian youth.

"The Chargé d'Affaires David Wisner met today with Prime Minister Edi Rama to reaffirm the strong bond between the United States and Albania. They discussed the close partnership of our countries in the United Nations Security Council, especially for Ukraine, as well as the importance of supporting the Albanian youth. Wisner also thanked the prime minister for the extraordinary hospitality that Albania has shown to the Afghans," the statement said./ CNA
