The Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, after the meeting with the government, announced that the decision to reallocate hospital service funds was approved today at the meeting of the Council of Ministers.

The minister stated that 1.3 billion lek have been reallocated from the budget of the shet, which will be included in the hospital budget.

" We have a decision related to the reallocation of funds for the hospital service from the mandatory health care scheme, where in the framework of all the work done in health, investments made, government policies to support the financing of salaries and growth for medical personnel, where we remember that this year we had a historic increase in salaries for specialist doctors, then the state budget has allocated 1.3 billion lek for this increase, which is included in the hospital budget.

On the other hand, being in the investments made in these years and with the focus to expand the competition of hospital services, within the framework of all the investments made, we have decided to make reallocations by creating the necessary reserve to attribute each the hospital the necessary budget in terms of covering the salaries and also the operating expenses of the hospitals which are related to the elements I mentioned above and which guarantee a secure financing for the hospitals and the increase in the number of examinations and interventions and medical services", has said the minister./ CNA
