Rama shares Duma's post about energy and reminds him of Basha's "mathematics".

Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to PD MP Grida Duma, who reacted to the crisis package that was presented today.

Through a post on social networks, Duma stated that whoever spends more than 7,600 ALL per month on energy will have a bill 4.4 times higher.

Rama shared Duma's post, while he did not leave without mentioning Basha's blunder with the multiplication table.

The Prime Minister refutes what the PD deputy says and clarifies that only 4% of consumers spend more than 800 kah and will pay more.

"My comment is this: 7X7 do not make 42 and 800 kah of energy do not produce a monthly bill of 7,600 ALL, but a bill of 9,120 ALL! Who will spend more, for everyone over 800 will not pay the protected price of 9.5 Lek with VAT, but the real price of 42 Lek with VAT!

Today there are only 4% of consumers who spend over 800kh and receive 19% of household energy consumption! We believe that this measure will encourage saving and on the other hand will force the richest to pay more, in this time of crisis when they are the least affected!".

Duma's post:

"If you spend more than ALL 7,600 per month on energy, the additional bill will be 4.4 times higher!

All those who normally in winter spend more than 800 kilos of energy, which corresponds to a bill of 7,600 lek per month, will pay the additional energy much more expensively."

This is the decision of the government, which claims that it affects only 3% of citizens.
