Rama receives an honorary title in Italy / "Order of Minerva", the

Prime Minister Edi Rama received today the academic title of "Order of Minerva" from the Gabriele d'Annunzio University of Chieti.

During his statement to the media, he said that he initially felt embarrassed when he heard the news about receiving the title, as he is the only one in the Albanian government who has not received an academic title.

He further emphasized the importance of this academic title stating that it is one of the highest titles in the world of academics.

" I will try to speak when I have the chance and the opportunity to speak in the ceremony hall, but I have to say that when I received this message, this invitation I thought it was only to participate in the ceremony of starting the academic year. When I realized that it was something more and that I had been chosen by this university of great reputation to be side by side with important characters who had previously received this award I felt embarrassed because I often say that I am the only one in the government who I have never received an academic degree. "The Order of Minerva" is one of the highest titles in the academic world. It is clear that I take something that belongs to Albania. We have a great honor for Italy that even a lifetime would not be enough to fully honor. ", said Rama./ CNA.al
