Rama and Balluku, in Baku/ They sign the memorandum for the gasification of

Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku met with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

They also signed the memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, Albgaz and the state oil company in Azerbaijan, SOCAR, for the development of the gasification infrastructure of the city of Korça.

Balluku called the signing of this memorandum a very good news.

She announced that the work with the engineering part will now start, as the feasibility study has been completed.

"This is very good news, which started and was conceived for a long time between Albgaz of Albania and SOCAR of Azerbaijan, but it is now becoming a reality. Our plans are to start work as soon as possible, starting with the engineering part, the feasibility study has already been completed", said the deputy prime minister. / CNA
