SP accused Edmond Spahon/ How many years in prison does the democratic deputy

Today, in the village of Vreshtas i Maliqi, the first incident of the elections was recorded, provoked by the PD deputy of Sali Berisha and the former vice-president of Lulzim Basha, Edmond Spaho.

Spaho has entered the SP activity with the community of tractor drivers, causing tensions between people.

In the videos obtained by CNA, it was clearly seen how the farmers evicted Spaho.

As shown in the videos, the farmers asked Spaho to leave the activity, as it is creating divisions and tensions.

The latter appeared in front of the media and stated that the meeting was being held for campaigning and stealing votes, while it was an activity of the SP with the community of tractor drivers.  

The SP has reported Edmond Spaho and with the violation he committed according to article 325 of the Criminal Code that talks about obstructing electoral subjects, he risks a sentence of three months to three years in prison.

"Obstructing electoral subjects or candidates through threats, violence or any other means to carry out their activities in accordance with the law during the election campaign is punishable by imprisonment from three months to three years", states Article 325.

We remind you that Edmond Spaho also filed a complaint against the head of the Maliq Municipality, Gëzim Topçiu, who in a statement to the media rejected Spaho's accusations that the activity was being done to steal votes.

Topçiu is running for the Municipality of Maliqi and is seeking his 7th mandate./ CNA.al
