Democratic MP Saimir Korreshi focused today on the action taken by the opposition to hold a series of protests as a way to overthrow the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

In a television studio, Korreshi stated that this is the main goal of the opposition, along with achieving a technical government and holding early elections.

Korreshi added that the opposition is doing its duty by calling on people to join the protests, while emphasizing that the greatest pressure must come from citizens.

"I think there is only one thing left to aim for. The main goals of the opposition with these protests are the resignation of the government, the technical government and holding early elections. The opposition is doing its duty to call people and invite them to join. But I think the greatest pressure should come from the citizens and not the opposition. It is in the hands of the people to overthrow the government, the greater the citizen pressure and the pressure, the less this kind of theft will remain in the government. If people do not stand up for themselves, because there is also the economic side, so they stand up for themselves and not for specific names or for us", - said Korreshi./CNA
