The member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Grigels Muçollari, spoke about the tensions and violence exercised by the police against the protesters.

Muçollari emphasized that everything was going well and protesting peacefully until someone ordered them to attack us.

The member of the DP Presidency, Grigels Muçollari, told how Belind Kelliçi, Ervin Minarolli and himself were attacked.

"I consider it very important to clarify for public opinion why the opposition has decided to carry out civil disobedience and protests as a function of the technical government. It's simple, given the evidence so far and from foreign intelligence services. We need a regular election process, we need a process that is recognized by the parties and the election day to be the day of democracy.

I noticed yesterday that there was a large mass of citizens who stopped cars and how they never honked. Some joined, some left, because it was scary at certain moments. So the opposition's demand is very legitimate.

Let's go back to the protest. I, Mr. Kelliçi, Mrs. Çupi, etc. were stationed at different points in the center at the City Hall. The protest had a normal continuity, with that first line of policemen we were even exchanging jokes with them, so much time that we spent this year together making a cocktail on the occasion of the end of the year. Somewhere around 6:20 p.m., don't be mistaken, a strange order comes where the operational forces and those of quick intervention, I am fully convinced, were placed in that form to hit us deliberately. It was organized in such a way that certain individuals were targeted. We don't have all the evidence, but as a witness I say it with full responsibility. There were two or three policemen who first attacked the Organizational Secretary Mr. Ervin Minarolli, two or three others Mr. Kelliçi.
