The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, reacted from the cell to the opposition's protest.

In a post on "Facebook", Ilir Meta declared that this was an extraordinary day for Albanians and expressed his gratitude to the citizens for their participation.

In his article, Meta condemned the violence exercised by the police against the protesters, where he stated that these actions are indicators of Edi Rama's panic.

"An extraordinary day for Albanians! Kudos to the lion-hearted and invincible citizens who tonight turned Civil Disobedience into a hurricane of Freedom for Tirana and all of Albania.

The criminal violence of the narco-police against opposition leaders and peaceful citizens, their bandit kidnappings and illegal arrests are indicative of Edi Rama's panic that is giving life, but also the last of the Narcoregime that is rapidly rolling towards its inevitable end.

I condemn with the greatest severity the police reprisals and remind all thugs in uniform who break the law on account of Edi Rama that they will have it personal with the opposition.

Civil disobedience and violent protests will not stop!" /CNA
