The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted to the MP Agron Gjekmarkaj, who lost his senses in the protest.

Berisha raised accusations that Gjekmarkaj was raped by the police, by order of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

He warned that Rama and the Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha, will bear personal responsibility for the physical violence against the deputy.

"Now I am informed that the criminals in uniform have hit the deputy president of the DP Agron Gjekmarkaj.

This is a criminal act ordered directly by Edi Rama, who follows the opposition protest with horror and selects its leaders to target. I assure Edi Rama and Ervin with 3 last names that they will be held personally responsible for the physical violence against the vice president of the DP and the Parliament and I express my great solidarity to him.

Rama is a blind avenger who for his power does not stop before any crime, but the opposition will show him the country as he deserves. Once again, I condemn this ugly act, this real crime against Gjekmarka in civil disobedience", stressed Berisha./ CNA
