Draft law on tourist ports/ Këlliçi: The government wants to give them away without competition and transparency

DP MP Belind Këlliçi spoke in the Assembly about the draft law "On an addition to law no. 9710, dated 10.4.2007 "On tourist ports in the Republic of Albania", as amended".

Këlliçi has stated that the government is seeking to award ports without competition, without transparency and in a privileged manner to strategic investors.

The MP emphasized that this law is about favoritism and plundering public property.

Këlliçi underlined that the awarding of ports without competition violates the public interest and the relationship with European and strategic partners.

"This government is in a hurry when it comes to strategic clients and criminal groups."

It is required that ports be awarded without competition, without transparency, and in a privileged manner to strategic investors. This is a law for favoritism and plunder of public property.
