The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted this evening to the statement of the former Minister of the Environment, Lefter Koka, in the courtroom about the Elbasan incinerator.

Berisha mentioned Koka's claims that the name of the "big fish" is on MP Monika Kryemadhi's phone and addressed the latter with a call.

The former prime minister declared that Kryemadhi should inform Albanians about the 'big fish'.

"Dear friends, today the person whom we have always called 'ladro utile', useful thief, Lefter Koka came to his senses, and his courage returned. Today, in the courtroom, he declared that I am not the author of the burnings, that the "big fish" is in Mrs. Kryemadhi's phone.

Friends, Lefter Koka responsibly declared before the court that the 'big fish' is only one and his name is Edi Rama.

Therefore, here in front of you, I appeal to Mrs. Kryemadhi, who stated that Edi Rama ordered Dumani to delete all her communications with Edi Rama, to let the Albanians know, to inform the Albanians about the 'big fish', to inform the Albanians in which case you handed over 460 thousand euros to Edi Rama, to inform the Albanians of everything I know about this master thief of all time", he emphasized.

Berisha made the same call for Lefter Koka, whom he asked to make the accusations public.

"I again appeal to Lefter Koka: Lefter, four years ago, it was not in vain that you were invited by the opposition to become the defendant of justice. Time proved you right. For the Scapi mercenaries, whatever you say to them will only bury your accusations deeper.
But now it's up to you to make them public, rise to the height of human courage and face these thieves who misused you, who threatened you, who deceived you. You know it yourself, you know all this yourself, don't make me say it openly", declared the leader of the DP./ CNA
